About sir Isaac Newton
Sir Isaac Newton was born on Christmas day in 1642 (a very long time ago!), to Hannah Newton who was a widow, his father also isaac newton died 3 months before his son was born. THE NEWTON FAMILY LIVED IN A MANOR HOUSE IN LINCOLNSHIRE, AND JUST AS MANY ENGLISH HOUSEHOLDS AT THE TIME, THEY HAD BECOME PROSPEROUS BY BREEDING SHEEP, EVEN THOUGH ISAAC'S FATHER HAD NO EDUCATION AT ALL AND COULD NOT EVEN SIGN HIS NAME. isaac was born premature, tiny and weak, he was not expected to survive. when Isaac was 3 his mother left and married a political minister, young isaac was left with his maternal grandmother . At age 12, isaac was reunited with his mother after her second husband died. young isaac had been enrolled in the kings school in grantham, a town in lincolnshire, were he lodged with a local pharmacist where he was introduce the the fascinating world of chemistry. His mother pulled him out of school, for her plan was to make him a farmer and have him tend the farm. He soon was sent back to King's School to finish his basic education. Perhaps sensing the young man's innate intellectual abilities, his uncle, a graduate of the University of Cambridge's Trinity College, persuaded Newton's mother to have him enter the university.
